Spyder Club Cotswolds Experience Day!

Spyder Club had a great day out on Saturday in the Cotswolds.  After lunch at the Bird in Hand Inn guests and members headed out for an afternoon’s ride on some of the Spyder Club fleet.

Bikes that came along were the new Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC, Ducati Diavel Carbon, Ducati Multistrada, KTM RC8-R and the new Triumph Speed Triple amongst others.

It was a great chance for members to catch up and for non-members to ride some of the bikes and find out what Spyder Club is all about.

The next experience days are planned for the 1st and 2nd October so if you’d like to come along get in touch!

Another good weekend’s racing from Silverstone.  This time the weather was perfect for the World Superbike guys and no one more so than Carlos Checa who take both race wins.  As for the brits, Camier was looking good for a podium before losing power in race one, Toseland struggling with a wrist injury and Leon Haslam took 4th in race 1, fighting Melandri for the podium and 8th in the second due to bike issues.  Laverty was second in both races!

As ever Silverstone put on a good show and we’re now look forward to being at the BRDC again for BSB.

Spyder Club Sunny Scottish Trip!

Spyder Club have just returned from an excellent trip to Scotland where the weather, routes, food, company and bikes were all superb!

Within the last 18 months 1 guest has enjoyed our motorcycle tours so much that Scotland was his sixth trip with us, for another this was his fourth and for two who came away with us for the first time they have already expressed interest in coming on another trip soon.  For your chance to come away with us please click on the Spyder Club Tours and Events page.

Aprilia Tuono V4R APRC Arrives in Time for Sunny Scottish Trip!

Spyder Club’s Scottish trip guests were treated to a last minute addition to the fleet in the shape of the new Tuono which was picked up on Friday morning before hot footing it to Glasgow.  We’re all looking forward to the first ride!

Another good day in the saddle for Spyder Club members, this time at Silverstone and as always with Focused Events!  Our Focused Events instructor provided excellent tuition as our guys visibly improved through the day.

Silverstone Track Day and Gentleman Drivers Club Supercar Sunday!

Spyder Club will be heading off to St Michaels Manor, St Albans to meet the guys from the Gentleman Drivers Club for Brunch and more importantly, to ogle some beautiful bits of metal.  Supercar Sunday sounds like fun and it’ll be even better with a few bikes turning up!

Spyder Club members also enjoyed another Focused Events track day on the 14th, this time at Silverstone.  Our instructor was very good indeed, visibly improving the guys riding over the day.  If you wish to take part in track days or other events with Spyder Club or learn more about the Gentleman Drivers Club, get in touch!

Good at Goodwood!

As usual Goodwood Festival of Speed was a very British event with loads to do and see as well as the sounds of bikes, cars and aircraft roaring across the countryside!  Thank you to those who came to see us and discuss the services we offer.  It was good to see old friends including bike road and track racing legend Trevor Nation.  The bike and motorcycle guys were unbelievable!  We’re looking forward to next year.

Superb Trip to the Swiss Alps!

What a brilliant trip!  The routes were spectacular and all our guests enjoyed themselves immensely with bookings for future Spyder Club Trip already taken.  The weather, bikes and roads shone and we are looking forward to the next trip to the Swiss Alps in September.

We’re off to the Alps with our new bikes for four days of riding the Swiss passes.  Bar the Diavel which is off to Scotland for a week, our guests are flying into Zurich to ride the RC8 R, Speed Triple ABS, MV F4, 848, Streetfighter S and 749 S.  Fancy coming to do the same, join us on future trips!
