Valentino Rossi has released exclusive pictures of the Ducati MotoGP race bike for this year – looks good.  Let’s hope he gets some good results this year!

Having spent two days testing his BMW around the Spanish circuit of Valencia, Leon Haslam is happy with the performance of the bike.

“It was a long winter back home and I am definitely happy to be back on the bike. We were lucky with the conditions. It was a bit cold in the morning, but we were able to get most out of the two days. We got through everything that we needed to go through, so I am very positive,” said Haslam.

“These two days were important. We have a lot of new things for this year and it was good to test before we go to Phillip Island. In addition, it was good to get a few laps under our belts and get up to speed again. We definitely made big steps and are much further ahead compared to last year. It really is a stronger package and we still have five more days to test in Australia to dial it all in.”

Great to hear Leon is already happy with his 2012 bike, will this year be his!  Also that the weather is good in Spain for our fast approaching fly-ride trips.

Having ridden the Monster 1100 S a few years ago I knew the Evo was only going to be better, but it’s so much better!  It’s so light and agile, changing direction with easy, yet feels solid and secure like a bigger bike, even on wet winter roads it is easy to ride through the twists.  The Monster will be the perfect bike for the Spyder Club fly-rides trips in sunny Spain during March.

Ducati do make brilliant motorcycles and this is one puts the biggest smile on your face!

Valentino Rossi with the New Ducati Panigale

Valentino Rossi has been admiring the new Ducati Panigale at the Ducati/Ferrari press conference which kick starts the Italian season.

Spyder Club’s own Ducati Panigale will be arriving in May so if you would like to ride it as a Spyder Club member or on a fly ride motorcycle tour then get in touch!
