Spyder Club New Bikes Arriving!

A new season means new bikes for the Spyder Club fleet and  now we have returned from Spain the changes have begun.  Spyder Club members and tour guests will for a fourth year be treated to an updated fleet, meaning we have provided customers with over 40 different motorcycles to ride over the last three years.

First bikes to arrive will be Ducati’s brilliant all-rounder, the Multistrada Sport fully equipped with panniers – also a like-for-like replacement for our incredibly popular 848.  Two more models for 2011 will also be available to members and tour guests, the stunning new Ducati Diavel (arriving in June) and Triumph’s much improved Speed Triple both of which have been highly praised by the press.

Other new additions to the Spyder Club fleet will be announced shortly – you can subscribe to our newsletter to be kept up to date on changes to the fleet.

MCN have announced that the BMW S1000RR has been voted the MCN machine of the year at the MCN awards.  The bike has certainly been a favourite with Spyder Club members although facing stiff competition from the brilliant 2010 MV Agusta F4 and Aprilia RSV4 Factory.

The new 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 has arrived at Spyder Club to complement the already desirable fleet which includes the BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Ducati 1198 S and Streetfighter S.

Also new to the fleet is a Triumph Sprint ST 1050 fully kitted out for touring with panniers, top box and heated grips.

2010 MV Agusta F4 1000 Joins Spyder Club Fleet

The 2010 MV Agusta F4 1000…utterly beautiful and searingly fast, performance at the high end of the class – as described by Kevin Ash at Ash on Bikes -  and the next amazing motorcycle to arrive at Spyder Club.   Due in early April, Spyder Club’s new F4 will arrive shortly before the upcoming open days on the 10th and 11th April where Spyder Club will also be announcing two other bikes to join the fleet.

The Moto Guzzi Griso SE arrived at Spyder Club today after a snowy journey from London.  What a beautiful bike…and the BMW arrives tomorrow!

More Triumphs for Spyder Club

Spyder Club members can now choose from an additional fleet of Triumphs.  Pidcock Triumph has offered Spyder Club an extension to its existing fleet by making their demonstrator models available to members.  Using the usual Spyder Club points system the Triumph’s can be booked by telephone for short periods of up to three days from the Donington Park base.

The bikes available include: Thunderbird 1600, Daytona 675, Speed Triple 1050, Sprint ST 1050, Tiger 1050, Scrambler, Speedmaster, Bonneville SE and Street Triple R.

Spyder Club Test Day Success

The sun shone on Spyder Club’s first test day and with the weather came the numbers: members, potential members, family and friends all turned up to help make the day a great success.  Riders got to experience a wide selection of bikes as well as sample the delights of a barbecue and for those that stayed into the evening, discuss which bike was best over a beer.

A big ‘thank you’ goes to Chris Moss, Silkolene, 3bit, Norton, Ducati UK, Harley Davidson, Buell, Pidcock Triumph and Donington Park for all your help.

Finally a very warm welcome to Spyder Club to all our new members who joined on Saturday and a very big ‘thank you’ to existing members for putting the ‘club’ in Spyder Club, your continued support is priceless.

Spyder Club Free Bike Test Day!

On Saturday the 26th September from 12 noon Spyder Club will host a free bike test day at our Donington Park base.

Along with Spyder Clubs own fleet which includes the stunning Aprilia RSV4 Factory, Ducati 1198 S and Streetfighter S and two MV Agusta’s there will be some amazing guest bikes to ride too.  An RC8-R from KTM UK, bikes from Harley Davidson, and 1125R from Buell and a Daytona 675 from Pidcock Triumph.  Ducati UK are also hoping to supply an 848 and Monster 1100.

The day is open to those interested in joining Spyder Club and offers the opportunity to come and ride the road bike fleet (terms and conditions apply) as well as discuss with staff and members the benefits of Spyder Club membership.  Spyder Club will also have a variety of offers available for membership on the day or starting 2010.

In addition Stuart Garner (Norton Motorcycles CEO) will be riding the Norton Commando 961 SE to Spyder Club for general admiration.  Norton will be providing Spyder Club with their own bike in the coming months and this will be a great opportunity to get a good look at this recreated icon.

Spyder Club at Pageant of Power and Moto GP
