Spyder Club members will benefit from the kindness of KTM UK over the coming month as they have loaned Spyder Club a brand new RC8.  Initial impressions of the RC8 are brilliant, KTM have achieved a unique sportsbike that offers huge amounts of fun.  Already well received by Spyder Club’s members and with bookings being taken for the duration of its stay, we’d like to thank KTM UK for their continued support.

Spyder Club Ride the Aprilia RSV4 Factory at Silverstone

Forza Italia, the local exotic bike dealer at Silverstone recently hosted the RSV4 Factory launch day for Aprilia.  Unfortunately Spyder Club wasn’t able to attend but have since been to ride the bike, and what a bike it is!  The RSV4 sounds like nothing else and with its small stature and really comfortable riding position it handles beautifully.  Riding the Aprilia and 1198S back to back will prove a very good day indeed and another Spyder Club member benefit!

Spyder Club have just purchased a new MV Brutale 910S to replace the much loved Benelli Cafe Racer.  This Italian four-cylinder exotica develops 138bhp together with an arm wrenching 71 lb ft torque, it’s a lightweight machine with the handling you’d expect from this desirable marque.  The MV Brutale 910S is magic in motion…

GSX-R 750 Added to Track Bike Fleet

The GSX-R750 is considered by many to be the ultimate track bike – combining litre power with the weight and handling ability of a 600.  It therefore seemed the right bike to sit between our R6 and Fireblade to offer a high pedigree 4 cylinder Spyder Club track fleet and give members three different ways to ride Donington’s world class track.  All the bikes are available to members for the points equivalent of £110 at any Donington Park track day, although other tracks can be used.

James Toseland Launches Spyder Club Track Bikes

Spyder Club were honoured to have James Toseland come and sit on a Yamaha R6 to launch our two new track bikes, an R6 and a Fireblade.  Both bikes are currently being prepared so James sat on an R6 road bike kindly lent to us by Tamworth Yamaha James commented ‘Spyder Club’s a great idea and the Yamaha R6 will be the perfect bike for members to ride on track.’  Fresh from his 130 mph high-side in Sepang it was interesting to hear what had happened and that even though he was injured he still went out and finished the session!  The commitment these guys have and what they put themselves through is unbelievable.

James’ visit coincides with the addition of the Track Bikes page on the website which explains how the bikes can be used by members.  With discounts at Donington Park and Focused Events track days Spyder Club can now offer its members a very cost effective way of enjoying great road and track bikes!  You can also get more information by calling 01332 850344.
